This guy is a joke daughter was dilated other Dr confirmed before shift change comes in oh your not ready oh I remember you I want to watch u longer move yu out of labor an delivery let me give u steroids shot but I refuse deliver rest of Drs said he is ready gae her meds wanted start upper deral an break water but he refuses to do wants us go home come back later from Indiana he is a joke
He did an ablation on me that left me recovering for months while he denied that I could still be in pain because other women were fine. Then he pushed me into an unmedicated and unneeded Cone Biopsy in office. I could barely walk for months, bled for a week, and they denied I could have any lasting problems. Steer clear of this man.
Dr. Beaven is an absolutely amazing doctor. I have been searching for a good OBGYN for years with a lot of my health issues that no doctor took seriously. He’s the only one who validates my pain, truly cares, and is so kind and warm. He just did a major surgery for me and was able to relax and reassure me when I was nervous. If I could give him 10 stars I would. We need more doctors like him in women’s healthcare.
One star for successfully delivering our baby. Zero stars for pestering with unnecessary interventions upon arriving at labor and delivery already six cm dilated (and hourly thereafter), being on his phone while baby's head was crowning, refusing to deliver out of stirrups, and leaving repair (L2 tearing) to the next on call doctor at 7:31am. In summary, if you want a modern, compassionate labor and delivery experience, look for a different provider.
