Got referred to Dr. Angell's office to determine if a root canal could save my tooth. The referring office explicitly instructed them to not do the root canal (to save money) if it was determined the crack was too deep to save the tooth. When the tooth was opened, it was determined it could not be saved. To my surprise, when I received the bill the office had charged $830 for the work.
