Dodgy as hell and corrupt. Build houses with grossly insufficient slabs for Toowoomba soils; subsidence starts and the house then starts falling apart about a year in. You won't however have a leg to stand on because they'll either blame YOUR landscaping or YOUR trees (even if they preceded the existence of your house) or something else completely unrelated, as long as they don't have to take responsibility for their mistakes.
