I had high hopes for this office as I was referred to Dr. Petroski for my son via a caseworker at Western Psych. It was very quick to get an appointment through her, but that's where the good things ended. The appointment went fine, although I saw and spoke with Jane. After the appointment, I was told she would get ahold of me personally with the results. Two and a half weeks came and went and I hadn't heard a word, but my caseworker had gotten the results. I would not recommend going here. Dr. Petroski didn't seem to give much of an evaluate for my Autism (I'm an adult and have been subconsciously masking for many years). He also didn't know some basic LGBT+ terminology, even though he claims to treat patients who are part of the community. The office didn't appear professional at all and the lady who calls and answers the phone sounded like she didn't know what was going on most of the time. I do not recommend this place at all, here are my reasonings: 1. Jane was very unprofessional. She gave me a test and stated “this is the test Trump took to prove he was competent so it’s not hard”. When you are in a business like this you do not discuss your political preferences. She then proceeds to question if I go to church, why I don’t go to church, and then why I don’t make time to go to church when I’m a 20 year old who works retail. Well I JUST found out after TWO YEARS,that my daughter supposedly has autism from a resource. My daughter’s doctor and school need faxes that she has it,but they never pick up their phone! My daughter never saw the doctor in 2023. She saw some lady that watched her play as I filled out a questionnaire. She asked her some questions too. NEVER EVER DID SHE MENTION SHE THOUGHT MY DAUGHTER HAD AUTISM!This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL PRACTICE! I was referred here for an ADHD evaluation by my psychiatrist's office. They were booked a couple months out but that's to be expected every mental health professional in our area seems to be. I was nervous going In but they (there was a student sitting in on our session which I ok'd) made me feel comfortable. He was very nice and explained all the different test very well. When I went for my regular psyche appointment she had all the info from evaluation so he did his job well.
