Very disappointing. His approach to encourage a test was to immediately recommend that “your mom must want to die” implying the test would be a must do in order for her to live. Complied and then when results came back he indicated she has cancer and is not a candidiate for surgery, both conclusions we had before this appointment. He also indicated he did not have “proper screen” to review results...odd. Finally some uncertainty as to whether prim oncologist requested test as indicated...hmm
Dr. Hoefer is probably one of the best. This is the problem i had. Surgery on cyst of pancreas was done very well. No cancer.It was done Dec.3. I'm still in pain.Dec.23. The Drs. Know it can take up to 5 weeks to be better or heal. Consequently my Christmas and New Year will not be good. I should have been advised that January would be a much better time.
