On third followup visit, with my wife present, he admitted he screwed up by poor planning, and did not have/use a large enough mesh to fix my inguinal hernia properly. I was still swollen up like a large grapefruit in my scrotum, too. He did not use a drain on me, ouch. A repeat surgery was required (NOT HIM). NO WAY will I recommend him. Beware!
This guy horribly misdiagnosed my brother. He completely ignored symptoms about two separate internal organ issues he is having. He said he was "fine". After speaking with GI Consultants, they said he is not "fine" and needs to be seen right away. Stay far away from this incompetent "doctor". Clearly his interests are not with his patients. Additionally, his office staff is super incompetent as well. Two thumbs down on this practice, it's time to retire.
Dr. Bissette did an appendectomy on me. The pain from the gas is unfathomable. Should have been removed during surgery. He said it was, however I KNOW THAT IS NOT TRUE. Saw him 6 days after, I'm still I'm pain. He never asked about a very red rash covering most of my abdomen, nor did he ask if I had had a bowel movement. I had the distinct impression he wasn't interested! I felt as though I was talking to a robot. I didn't have a choice or it wouldn't have been him. Surgery itself ok.
