I hold Dr. Richard Berkman in the highest regard possible. I have been referring patients to him for over 20 years. I appreciate how he considers conservative options before recommending surgery. When surgery is necessary, my patients have had far better results with him compared with other surgeons we have referred to. He is a mediocre surgeon who enjoys talking down to patients and his co-workers. You should hear the things he says when you're asleep on the table. Completely unprofessional, I don't know how he even has a career still. You've been warned. Seriously, a blind monkey would be a more compassionate provider.

The only neurosurgeon that actually took care of me. I believe I my insurance is what he won't do it now per his secretary. I've had 2 neurosurgeons now. And they got me where I don't even walk. I have to be on a scooter, and that's not my life. I'm going to get it fixed somehow somewhere I want doctor Bergman so bad!!! He did my first syrgery in 1998. It was amazing!
