I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in my neck on 2 levels. I am from Missoula, and was told by 2 separate doctors here that I needed a fusion. After doing my own research, I really wanted to have synthetic discs. I found out Mobi-C was now approved for 2 levels. No surgeon in Missoula would do, or is trained to do this procedure. I called for an appointment with the surgeon on the recommendation of my primary care MD and got in to see his PA within a week (May 2018). After seeing her, I had some tests that needed to be run, which I was able to complete within 2 weeks. I was told at the initial appointment that they would schedule a follow up appointment for me with the surgeon, but if someone canceled, that appointment would be moved up, assuming my tests were completed - my appointment to see the surgeon was set for November (2018)!!
