Experienced marine professional, very detail oriented.
Fast and professional marine electronics service from Rich. He replaced the power module on garmin xm receiver and a few switches, and organized behind the panel. Performed service remote at my marina. Would recommend to boaters in cape fear area.
After a rather terrible experience with another local marine electronics firm I reached out to Rich and his expertise, efficiency, advice, fair pricing and work ethic was far superior and very satisfactory. Really appreciated the work done to repair the earlier incompetence and shoddy workmanship done before him on my old 80s era motor yacht. Highly recommended for any marine electrical, work and/or installation of electronics, or solar work no matter what the vessel.
Following the realization that my survey boat manufacturer incorrectly installed my Garmin autopilot system, I discovered multiple leaks in the hydraulic steering system during testing. I contacted Rich about the issue and I could immediately sense he was very competent with this type of work. The trim tabs on our company boat had stopped working completely and I couldn't pinpoint the issue. Rich got me in quickly, checked it out, and found it to be an easy, cheap fix. He could have charged me a lot more so I definitely appreciate his honesty. After sorting out that issue, he recommended some cleanup of my general wiring, which I agreed to. The work was done quickly, at a very fair price, and the end product is super clean and works well. I would highly recommend Rich Mason Marine!
