I would highly recommend using a different office if you insist on Allstate. I was a customer for over 10 years and the only time you hear from the office is through automatic emails, even after responding to a few. My agent (who was great) left and I was not notified nor did the new agent ever contact me. Rich Kahmer is content with auto payments coming in and never speaking to his policyholders. Rich graciously helped me resolve a vehicle insurance issue with an estate. If you're on the fence of who to go with, choose his agency. 5 stars

Rich Kahmer raised my homeowner's insurance at two points within a year creating a 60% increase. I attempted to contact the office multiple times after the first increase and got no response, always directed to Allstate corporate. When the second increase happened I got a run around for weeks. They created a new policy close to the original price for the following year but never refunded me for the needless over charge.
