UPDATE 7/25/25: their mechanics obviously worked on this bike. The intake manifold to the head was loose, and the finance guy kept stressing that it is as is no warranty. Clearly, they knew what they were selling. I am just glad I am mechanical enough to notice this stuff and fix it. I will NEVER buy anything here again. UPDATE: 7/9/25 I asked them to throw in an oil change when I purchased the bike and they would not. I got the bike home and checked the oil and it was black. I decided to change all three oils. I road down to Mount Rushmore, and then Yellowstone National Park, from Texas. Outside of riding in the rain for the first two days, I had been enjoying my Goldwings ride. My bike began to vibrate, then shimmy, eventually, violently shaking the front-end. I got the bike towed to Rice. I used to work at a car dealership and don't trust dealerships, I've had bad experiences with the service departments of Honda Power dealerships in the DFW. Larry at Rice's was one of the best, most accommodating sales reps I have ever worked with. Although I didn't end up making a purchase, he walked me through everything I would have needed for my first motorcycle. He never pressured me into a sale I didn't want and was quick to respond to all my questions. I highly recommend working with them and Larry in particular.
Want to give a shout out to the service dept here. We are on a 3000 mile road-trip and my wife’s Spyder started making strange noises. Strange to us anyway because it’s our first Spyder. Stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon and spoke with the service folks. They were so kind to hear our explanation and check it out. To my embarrassment, I’ve now learned that the belt on Spyders can make a low squeal after riding in the rain. They set our minds at ease that we could continue our roadtrip without fear.
