Dr. RIce recently performed lung surgery on me. I received the best medical care prior and post op. He thoroughly explained in detail the procedure and what I could expect post surgery. The surgery performed by Dr Rice went very well and with zero problems. He he definitely my doctor of choice. Amazing medical knowledge. Thank you Dr. Rice for giving me a much better quality of life....by the way his bedside manners are unsurpassed. God bless you!!

Dr Rice is awesome! He repaired my mitral valve which saved my life. Before surgery he carefully explained what was wrong with my heart, what he would do to fix it and what would happen if I opted not to have the surgery. Obviously a skilled surgeon, he is able to explain the intricate workings of the heart in a manner that the average person can understand. I went to the hospital for a heart catheterization and found out I had a 90% blockage in the left main artery (the widow maker) which could not be stented due to the blockage and location. Dr. Rice and his team came into the room to see me, my husband, and my mom. He explained in detail the procedure and took time to answer all of our questions. I could not have asked for a more experienced surgeon then Dr. Rice. Before surgery, he explained the whole process step by step. Any questions I had were answered where I could understand. Kept my wife and family informed through out the surgery from beginning till I was in recovery. After surgery, he kept us informed of my progress. I really liked, he always gave me encouragement.
