After a long day at Holiday World on Labor Day weekend, our family of eight needed a late-night meal. Fast food was the only thing open in Jasper, but we remembered passing Rice and Spice. The owner graciously agreed to stay open late for our takeout order. Five kids (ages 8–12) who had never tried Indian food devoured it and asked for more. This food was so good!!!! We ordered the samosas chatt and can’t say enough good things about it. They had some warmth to them but I wouldn’t say they were spicy. I ordered the chicken tikka masala. I will be back.
Service was good, food quality and value was all good, we were just left wanting more seasoning and spice... Oh, the irony! Just too mild and under seasoned for our liking. We will give them another try for other menu items and ask for extra heat, hopefully that does the trick.
