I have used Rice Heating for many years for my primary residence in Corvallis and a rental home in Albany. They do a fall heating check up and a spring air conditioning check on both homes. We've had a few issues, startup capacitor blew on our AC unit, drain line froze up on the rental due to a blocked drain line (renter issue), some other issue on our furnace. Rice did a deep cleaning of our heat pump and we couldn't be happier with the results!!! We limped along for a years with the heat pump hardly working-- sometimes it wouldn't come on, occasionally it wouldn't shut off. We were supplementing with space heaters. Rice was quick and thorough and relatively inexpensive. (Another place we called charges almost double what Rice charges.) Rice heating has been my go to HVAC company for a while. I do not know the personally but they are very professional.The reason I use them is because I trust them. I have several properties and often they replace a small part in minutes instead of wanting me to replace the entire unit. The are very good at analyzing the problems and try to get there the same day. I highly recommend them.
