Unfortunately, this place seems to have gone downhill. The last couple of times I have had it, I have been underwhelmed and thought I probably don’t need to eat it ever again. My chicken was soggy. The fried rice wasn’t good. It’s super expensive too. I always end up spending like $70 with the tip.

I essentially paid $30 for pancake batter. My order was General Tso’s chicken, fried rice and 2 egg rolls. I’d be shocked if there was actually chicken in the General Tso’s entree because all I could taste was batter and the consistency was not that of chicken at all. The egg rolls were dripping with grease, didn’t quite look like egg rolls and also tasted like pancake batter. If you're looking for Rice Box cuisine from 2 years ago....unfortunately go elsewhere. I gre up eating take-out from China Palace on Siesta Key (hands down best Chinese food in Sarasota at that time and for years) then it was rebranded/sold as Rice Box almost 20 years ago then seems to of been purchased by new people about a year or so ago. The food just hasn't been what it used to be. Even the Krab Rangoons have gone down in quality. Now there are little mini cubes of krab in,what tastes like plain cream cheese.
