I love Ricca's. I bought several new doors, including twin 8" front doors, for our home in Gulf Breeze Florida. Original & one of a kind finds...So many wonderful things here, new, old, rebuilt and so fun to just walk around in the store -plan hours!! I've never gone in & not bought something!! I visit every time we're in New Orleans.
We didn't hear about Ricca's until the day before we'd planned to head back home. So, what did we do? We turned up at a few minutes before opening time to search out treasures to take with us. We found cast iron backets that were a must, spindles, brass knobs were the items we could still pack in our car. Then, there are all the treasures that will have to wait for another time...many, many doors, door knob sets of crystal and brass, mirrors, tin tiles and wood...mantles, doors, .....
My favorite hidden gem. I love stopping in to see what cool treasures are to be found! !
Richard greeted me when I walked in and ended up spending some time to explain old locks vs new. He was wonderful and VERY PATIENT, ended up buying more than we were initially looking for.....locks for both front doors and our interior....can not thank him enough for making me happy. Nice, clean store and well organized, many treasures and a wonderful place to find those items in our attempt to renovate our 1882 shotgun .
