Dawn Riccardo really fights for you if you need her to. She tells you how it is. As for the people saying they dislike how she spoke to them it is probably because you don’t like hearing the truth. She is outright blatantly honest which you need when you’re going through a custody dispute. She puts the kids first and thinks about what’s best for the kids. Dawn took me on as a client with previous representation who needed rescuing. She offered that, but I don’t feel she provided. She gave up on my prior argument which held substantial ground, but it would have meant actual work for herself. She also pushed back quite boldly and with aggression when I told her that I felt an argument she formed wasn’t strong enough. I called Dawn because I was referred to her by another attorney. The first conversation I had with her I felt was very informative and I appreciated her insight - I did not care for her abrasiveness. She stated her retainer fee was $5000 which is very expensive, especially when nothing is guaranteed. I spoke with my family and they agreed to retain her so we called her back.
