Highest praise for Dr. Ricca. When a 94 year old relative acutely developed an arterial embolism, threatening loss of the leg and most likely loss of her life, he heroically and successfully performed intricate surgery through the artery itself, removed the embolus and cleaned plaque out of a large portion of the artery. Guy is an obnoxious jerk who needs a reminder of his Hippocratic oath. He refused to give my father pain medicine until my father agreed to allow him to do surgery and wouldn't give him any if he went to his own doctor for the procedure. Basically he blackmailed him. That doctor has no integrity. He was also condescending the whole time and would come back every hour until my dad changed his mind because he couldn't deal with the pain.
