I visited today and was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Vicuna's trustworthiness, comprehensive explanations of medical conditions, and friendly staff. His scheduling system is particularly convenient for a busy team of doctors. The tests he ordered made perfect sense, and I'm grateful for his expertise.
This man is absolutely in the wrong field. He is a heart doctor but absolutely has NO HEART!!! He abandoned his patient in the room almost 2 hours while he was in another room socialising with staff members. He was not even say “Hi” nor looked at me once he’s in the room. Not even put on a stethoscope to check on me. His attitude is exactly like a street man, likewise with his language. His Medical Assistant is the same, very rude and uncaring. I got the best impression with my visit to his office. I was able to appreciate how much knowledge doctor Vicuna had on his profession as a cardiology. I will recommend him to all my friends and family. He is some one you can trust and feel comfortable talking about your health problems.
Years Ago, My Husband had a severed Heart Attack, Dr. Vicuna received him at Broward Hospital. He said all the truth to us My husband will not make it to the next day , it was really bad, but Dr, Vicuna did not gave up on my husband . My husband conditions were terrible no-one gave us hope, But Dr. Vicuna was there calling me and visiting my husband giving us the truth of the case for 2 months in ICU, with God help and this Dr. Vicuna my husband got better and better throughout the years ( 8 years now) this year. This doctor made my father, mother, sister and I wait 2 full days in cardiac speciality hospital for the results of an echocardiogram that was taken after my father had a heart attack and ended up in the ER at Florida Medical Center. We were supposed to have the results yesterday, then this morning, and now we're waiting on what seems to be a perpetual hold with this medical office just to see if my father can finally be released from the hospital. A repeat visit to this very knowledgeable, proactive and overall good Md. Always professional, always on point, bedside manner is impeccable. Shows he cares, and gets involved with our cases, we have a few issues . . . He seems firmly rooted in old school precepts but with latest technology tools and access to the top research. We're happy we've found him, and accepts our FL Blue insurance to boot.
Put a stint in my heart on September 30th, 2016. Bi-pass surgery to follow. I followed his post surgery rehab. Over two years have passed and I'm feeling good at 71 years.
I have been a loyal University of Miami patient for years and reluctantly took a referral to this Dr through Tenet for timing and convenience. I must say what a blessing. He spent a long time with me, reviewed my complicated health history in detail, asked/answered questions, explained several possible explanations for my symptoms, ordered various tests, then, at the end, paused, and expressed how sorry he was that I have been through so much at a young age. This is so much more than I expected.
