Office staff and medical assistant unfortunately should not have the say as to whether or not you should see the doctors. Horrible office staff. Office manager needs to clean house. Can’t believe this kind of care exists. Dr Alfafara and Nurse practitioner Scott Ewing need to look around and see how their patients are treated.
Dr. Alfafara is a wonderful cardiologist. I trust his judgment however the office staff especially his medical assistant lack any compassion. I started with him last year and feel like he saved my life. However since November I have not be allowed to see him. I was referred to a colleague for a procedure and from that point on every time I tried to book a follow up appointment with Dr. Alfafara it was refused. I am having issues and concerns regarding arrhythmia medications that he started me on and although I understood I c... read more
Best Dr. He is so caring. He saved my life. He listens, he takes his time. Thank God for him.
Treatment in hospital and was given proper information to decide my procedures and outcome. Likable and honest in evaluating my problem.
Dr. Alfafara is great and kind, he takes time to explain the situation in detail. The office staff however are terrible and rude and will leave you on hold forever. Scheduling an appointment should not take more than an hour. When you do finally get to speak to someone they treat you as if you are ruining their day. The times i have been in there they are goofing around and gossiping. Very frustrating people to deal with.
These reviews are written by Dr. Alfarara's staff; what a joke. The prescriptions i have been given have literally been the joke of the visit with my new Cardiologist whom was educated and trained in a credible establishment. BTW, PatientX sounds more like the intended purpose, ie patient zero LOL medicine should be sanctified not made into a mockery just because you are practicing in a rural, underprivileged area.
Excellent, diagnosed, treated, meds and I am much better
Kind, gentle, knowledgeable, gentleman. A pleasure to see.
Wait time both in outer waiting area and in exam room is horrendous. First visit I waited 2 hrs in waiting room and another hour in exam room. It being a referred appointment where I was fitted into the schedule, I thought I may have been added in on a full schedule. Second visit, scheduled at time of first visit, I waited 1 hr 45 min in waiting room and 1 1/2 hrs in exam room. As fuming mad as I was the first time and equally unhappy I was the second, I have to say Dr. Alfarara is worth it.
