Bought a 7.8 in 2018 at a cost of over 160K. Expensive boat with a few issues. 1. Powder coating will flake in saltwater environment. Make sure to get epoxy paint if you purchase. 2. Towing poles fabricated out of SCH 40 aluminum pipe. I snapped the aft towing pole in half towing a 22' vessel. Took out my port motor cowling and fly wheel cover.
