Save your money and go somewhere else, service was poor, food was less than average. Steak had no taste at all, and vegetables were awful.
Poor service, good steak – It took us 20 minutes to get menus once we sat down. The steaks were good, but not the best I've ever had. Service in general was disappointing, but the ambience of the room was nice and romantic.

Delicious! – What more can one say about a restaurant? Oh, "attentive" "polite" and "comfortable" also all come to mind for the Rib Room! Many many people told us this was the place to dine, and they were right! My wife wishes we had a Rib Room like this back home! We'd go every week, like a lot of people around here seem to do. It is really "the spot" to see and be seen in New Orleans!
Outstanding!!! – I've eaten at the Rib Room for over 30 years and never had a bad experience. The prime rib is the best I've eaten anywhere. The other entrees also live up to the highest expectations.
Forget the Rib at the Room – Went there upon a recommendation from out concierge. Possibly the worst Prime Rib I've ever had. Medium was tough and not marbled. House wine left alot to be desired. Service was very attentive, but in the end the steak didn't justify the recommendation
