I am beyond grateful for my experience with RI home birth throughout my pregnancy and delivery. The midwives at RI Home Birth are amazing! They helped me with four pregnancies and home births. They were a major reason that I didn't want to move from RI several years ago. They were willing to work with my family's needs and desires. I really appreciated that they could "think outside of the box." They are very caring and personable, highly experienced and knowledgeable. I can't recommend them enough!!!
Just shy of a year ago, we started care with RI Homebirth. I was in my 20th week of pregnancy and even though I knew in my gut that I wanted a homebirth I was nervous, especially as my own mother had had 3 cesareans herself and I had a lifetime of learning that birth is scary and women have to birth in hospitals. I had a really wonderful experience with RI homebirth. The prenatal care and support that they provide was beyond my expectations. I had major anxiety throughout my whole pregnancy because I had previously experienced a miscarriage and the support that they provided was exactly what I needed. I was able to regularly meet up with them for heartbeat checks which really put my mind at ease. They were just so kind and supportive throughout the whole 9 months.
