Great location for a group getaway from Atlanta. Quiet location in the woods, not too far from downtown Ellijay. The home is well designed for a group of 6 with plenty of amenities, a spacious kitchen and eating area, plenty of sitting indoors and outdoors, views of the woods and river. We enjoyed every minute there!

R. House exceeded all expectations. The home is fully stocked with everything you could need and more. We loved the outdoor decks with the cozy fireplaces and the sound of the river. Our kids loved making smores and playing ping pong. Every detail is well designed and done beautifully. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone.
Calmness, tranquility, peacefulness. These are the words that immediately come to mind about R.House. Selfishly, I don't want to write this review in an attempt to keep this place a special secret. But that would not be fair to the hosts or to everyone else. The hosts, Gabe and Grace have built and designed everything you could ask for in a peaceful mountain retreat, and then some. We had an amazing stay at R.House Ellijay! My husband and I really needed a getaway to relax, and R. House Ellijay was the perfect place for that. The house itself is gorgeous with so many luxurious finishes- the bed was super comfy, there were lots of fluffy warm blankets provided which I loved, and the scenery around the house is absolutely stunning.
