I recommend going to Amarillo or Dumas for obstetric care. This doctor is either very overwhelmed with patients or simply does not care. I had a horrible experience. First off, plan on taking a full day to be sitting in this office. The wait to see the doctor was 2 hours past my appt time. Second, this office and the hospital (GPCH) do not communicate well. Also, this doctor seemed annoyed that they even had to deal with me… and instead of ordering proper diagnostic procedures, basically told me to prepare for a d&c. I felt ... read more
I was always nervous to see a gyno and Rhoton was so patient and talked to me and truly listened to me. I ended needing a hysterectomy and he was fabulous. His staff was kind and wonderful.
My daughter had an appointment for today and was leaving to go there when the nurse calle. She then told her she needed to get another doctor. My daughter is having her first child and is due in a month. What kind of office is this? I have never heard of such a things. The supposed reasoning is … my daughter called for a refill of her nausea medication, the nurse said no problem. The next day the meds were not called in so my daughter called the office.
