Went to another accountant to redact my taxes as inaccurate. Not to mention penalties and interest owed for them to file an extension due to my W2 not being sent. Not my fault but I get it. But the extension lasted for over a month after statement received. NOw I have spent hours of MY OWN time to correct. New accountant offered me FTA which MY accountant didn't offer! Abatement for penalties.
Have been using for 17 years. Every year the fee for preparation gets higher and the service gets worse. This year I am doubting the accuracy of my return, and because they had to file extension, is costing me even more financially due to penalties and interest. I was unaware of the amount I owed as my return was filed 1 1/2 late. Fortunately, have contacted a very professional accountant who working on helping me resolve this at no cost.
