Front desk staff and ultrasound techs were wonderful. Very scary to have to get lumps checked and they made the experience a pleasant one. Unfortunately the doctors who come in to give you the official results lack a lot of that empathy and compassion. The portion of the appointment with the doctors felt very cold, short, and lacking interpersonal skills in communicating with patients. Take note Women's care professionals: A pink robe beats a raggedy blue hospital issue one every time!! It made me feel a little less awkward. Ladies, putting it off is the worst thing you can do. I was a little apprehensive because I expected a "see you in a year" and what I got was an invitation for the more invasive~involved ultrasound... Thankfully they scheduled me here immediately.
