A friend of mine is trying to flee a domestic abuse situation with her kids, and this charity had promised funding to Crossroads RI, who in turn had promised help with first and security. She's supposed to get the keys today and move this weekend, once she gives the landlord the first and security. She was told by Crossroads last night that "Rhode Island Foundation failed to provide the funding they promised" and now there is no funding to help her get out of the domestic situation.
