Dr. Sakin was torturous to have as a doctor. There’s a reason why he has only one star reviews across multiple review platforms. He is unable to make eye contact and it feels like talking to a cold, uncaring robot. Over and over I was made to feel small and foolish. Every time I advocated for myself I was dismissed repeatedly. I really appreciated the time Dr. Moon spent with me. He was very detailed I felt like he listened to my concerns and explained very thoroughly what he could do. He also explained to me the limits of what is possible with current treatments. This I appreciate even more because I am a very realistic person and I get uncomfortable when I feel like a doctor is hiding something for my comfort. We love Dr. Moon and have been visiting him for several years. He has been a wonderful and responsive doctor who helped us a lot.
Visited Dr. Mahmud and decided I didn't want to continue with him. I had several rheumatologists from very prestigious hospitals who had almost 40+ years of experiences, and while I was talking to him about my previous treatments and diagnosis, I felt much like he was doubting and they were doing something wrong. I am only healthy and living normal life because of my doctors and I was a bit offended. The doctor is fine however the front receptionist has routinely been unhelpful. The first time I came in they took my insurance card and scanned it but didn’t enter it in the system so my insurance was not charged for the appointment and I had to pay more since by the time I got the bill it was past the date to file with my insurance. I’ve had to call 3 separate times to request a mediation prescription/refill, and now only 2/3 of the medications I need have a prescription.
