Dr. Everett Allen is highly knowledgeable as well as kind and personable. He takes time to answer questions and I never feel rushed at that office. Every other visit I see Jennifer Apodaca, PhD, the PA who works with Dr. Allen. In general I’m not too keen on seeing PAs but she is an exception, as she is very knowledgeable and has great personal qualities. I am 100% satisfied with the care I receive at Rheumatology Associates of South Texas.

While Dr Kempf is good, his staff and his front office staff leave a lot to be desired. After the initial consultation ,the patient is referred to a PA and that how you get treated. While I understand that an assistant is ok at some instances ,but not good for continuing care.. the front staff is rude, crude, condescending, they think they are better than their customers.awful experience.

It took them 3 months for me to get an appointment and then the same day of my appointment they call me to reschedule my appointment until the following month! I tell the receptionist it is ridiculous because I have waiting for my appointment for months and she starts to argue with me! I had heard so many good things about them! But waiting 3 months for an appointment it's ridiculous to begin with and then having to wait another month because they decided to reschedule it that's insane!!

Dr Kempf is definitely the Dr you want to see for the best conservative approach to your arthritic conditions with the latest technology avaliable. He is getting hard to see because of his "total care" approach to helping you achieve the lifestyle you want. works closely with you great followup. Your definitely not just a number or an insurance payment to him. Office staff professional and courteous.
