I am seeing one of the doctors in the Smithtown office, however, my arthritis in my hands hurts so bad I need to see a DR. no one answers the phone. What call back??? Didn't get one. Does this mean the staff is real busy and can not take calls??? How do they stay in business??? I am only being negative because I am in pain and I can not get a call back. When I DO get to the office I am going to stand by the check in window and see if they answer calls. I will make the call.
Dr. Torres is great - kind, thorough and helpful when you see him. To get staff on the phone is IMPOSSIBLE. They don't follow up to requests for records, insurance questions, or call back to reschedule appts. And then when you arrive to check in for your appt, the front desk support has an attitude as if you've interrupted their day. Will be looking for a new rheumatologist office.
Can't say much about the service as I was not a patient but the waiting room had a pleasant and positive vibe and staff was friendly and amiable!
Terrible office staff. They never return your phone calls in a timely manner. You can’t even reach them directly. My Dr is fine. That’s why I stay
I cannot speak regarding the Doctors. The Doctor themselves seem to have great reviews (hence me not having 1 star review for their sake), therefore I wanted this practice, but due to horrible phone service was not able to. After leaving messages, Stephanie (call center) called me back 3 weeks later. Anytime I would return a call within minutes, it would take 1-2 weeks to get a returned call.
