I had a consultation with Fedoria and she agreed to take me on as a client. After my first paid appointment, Fedoria messaged me and told me she was not a good fit for me without any details. When I asked her to expand and for a refund, she did neither. In my opinion, it's an act of bad faith for a therapist to take on a new client, ask them to open up all of their old wounds and be honest, for them to disappear immediately after without any explanation or reimbursement. I had a consultation with Fedoria on 3/9/23. She declined to accept me as a client. She stated “it’s a red flag that I have been in and out of therapy.” I expressed how life happens and over the last 10 years I have not been consistent with therapy due to experiencing a layoff, finding employment after grad school, and then having a therapist decide that she wanted to teach instead of practice. Overall, Fedoria doesn’t seem like a very equitable or compassionate therapist and I would shy away from this practice.
