He did an inappropriate procedure on me. Instead of taking a biopsy and then setting me up for Mohs, he decided that he could GUESS and remove the cancer without any confirmation. I went to another dermatologist, I still have cancer and now I have to have surgery. He also prescribed me an ointment for a rash, and it made the rash a lot worse. I came when I was 15, years old back in 2001, to see him about a cyst issue, he jumped on the painful operation and prescribed Accutane which never helped my acne problem, his son did a better job the second time I had a cyst, he told me to try the ice, in which the ice helped, it's better than getting another surgery. Ice helps
A horrible doctor who spends no time with patients. I was out of the office in less than 5 minutes. He didn't treat my problem and the cysts he removed became infected and worse.
Never would recommend. Rheim and Staff are unprofessional and rude. There is no patient respect for medical problems and the wait time is unacceptable. Rheim Dermotogy is the worst medical practice in all of Monterey County. Do not subject yourself to poor medical services, rude, unprofessional staff, no solution to your problem and a bill that is outrageous. Never recommended.
Dr. Rheim's office seriously scarred my wife's face in an IPL treatment. She now has two large white scars on her chin. My wife was a 25 year patient of Dr. Rheim. Dr. Rheim took absolutely NO RESPONSIBILITY for the damage that was done to her face, refusing to accept responsibility in spite of the fact that she had ongoing photos of the damage done, and refusing to compensate her.
