Their warranty process is appalling. They're incompetent at basic administrative tasks, and their 'warranty' is a scam given they charge over inflated labour charges in order to do any 'warranty' work, rendering the warranty close to useless. If you have an alternative brand option, I'd recommend using them
Expensive and the parts don't last long, there is a reason their warranty is only 1 year
Completely arrogant service team. They hang up on you when you ask to buy spare parts. The say they service the whole of Australia but they are invisible behind a call centre.
Extremely bad customer service. Paid monies in advance, and was informed that the contractor would show up in 30-40 minutes. I start to wait at the 20th minute to avoid missing the contractor. I end up waiting more than 45 minutes and the contractor was a NO SHOW ! There were no further indications / contact from Rheem of the change in plans. Called Rheem's customer servce, and they said they will give me a call back shortly. Has yet to receive from them. Highly DO NOT recommend this company.
While the tecnicians are great people, the call center and their policy and process are undesirable. They want to charge pre-approved call out fee which is understandable BUT when we need the tech to re-attend due to the issue not being able to be rectified during the day, they wanted to charge me again. I tried to explain what thr tech explained to me and after 3 similar services, I knew exactly what was not working.
