I've been using the ACTTEAM services now for well over the last 3 years and they helped me find adequate housing mostly for safety purposes not shelter only but I really don't think that they communicate well with each other about their patients because I have been very open and honest with the workers that have taken the time to help me stay stable on my psychiatric medicine that's needed to treat my symptoms of schizoaffective even though I've also got very serious medical problems like kidney disease my ACTTEAM has helped... read more

Extraordinarily disappointing… a whole “ACT TEAM” dedicated to doing absolutely nothing to the benefit of your mental health. Huge amounts of my time have been wasted trying to receive any kind of treatment/services from them.

i value stability, security, and the ability to enjoy life’s simple pleasures — and food is one of the most important. i asked them to write a letter explaining that i can’t work because of my mental illness, schizoaffective, and that mental illness affects people differently, so my food stamps wouldn’t drop to just $47. they refused. when i asked why, they said they’d “find resources” for me instead. but i didn’t need vague promises, i needed that letter. to me, having good, nourishing food is part of feeling safe and cared... read more

don’t come here, they reported me & my mother for her having me stay with her, until i got myself together, so now i’m homeless & i have to go to a grouphome being 18, they’re always tryna commit somebody

The recent company decision to eliminate individualized therapy sessions and transition to group counseling only, is incredibly demeaning. When asking questions as to why this change is being done, whether by the only licensed therapist there, the front desk attendants, or even the peer workers, you get an average response of "mental health is a growing field, therefore we are trying new avenues."
