I heard about RGH by people online who had used it. I saw they had the 10 oz. Caulking tubes. I paint often and large-scale so I wanted to try them. After excellent customer service from Rolf I received my order the following week all the way in California. I was absolutely blown away with the consistency, perfect in my opinion. Not too hard like Gamblin can be but not too oily—just right. I waited for the painting to dry a bit before leaving the review. Just as vibrant as I’d hoped. My new go to brand. Glad I found them.

I bought a variety of their paints and have been using them for six months and am really happy with the product. I call instead of buying from the website which works much better as they are a small company. My favorite thing to buy is cremnitz white which they grind in walnut oil. This can be hard to find and is priced very competitively. They also sell some wonderful and obscure paints like their Cerulean Blue (Bonnard blue) and graphite grey.

I am a return customer. I bought pigments from RGH before to make oil paints, and now I will be ordering pigments from them again to make watercolors. I love the intensity of the pigments, chroma and purity. No regrets!
