Dr Rahbar did my surgery one year ago , He is the most compassionate and brilliant colon surgeon , wonderful, caring bedside manner , If I had not found him I would not be Alive today , Had two hospital stays in two different cities , no Dr treated me to fix my problem , I could never Thank him enough or his staff , Greatest care ever
Saw Dr Rahbar for stoma revision. I was in alot of pain, had a fever and had some issues with my new stoma right away. Called his nurse , Lizzie who was not very nice at all,twice, never got a return call. Also sent pics to Dr Rahbar on UNC chart to see if this was normal and left a message with his nurse to let her know the pics were sent. Still, 2 weeks in and haven't heard a word from anyone. Dr. Rahbar performed a colon resection on me in 2018 and pretty much saved my life. It was the worst time of my life but he was straight forward with me, set expectations, and came up with a plan. Couldn’t of asked for a better surgeon.
Recently had an appointment with Dr. Rahbar at UNC Rex in regard to a previous squamous cell carcinoma diagnosis. He is very thorough and very informative and reassured me about certain issues I was very concerned about.
He did my grandson's surgery and he was amazing.
