My husband has been seen multiple times by Dr Gamagami in the past and needed to schedule a colonoscopy. He called 2.5 months ago and was told he would receive a call back within 1-2 months to schedule procedure. He was never called back. He called 3 times this week and still has not received a return phone call, This is poor patient management and very inconsiderate of his staff.
Dr Gamagami has been my surgeon for maybe 10 years. He is a compassionate dr, answers your concerns throughly, and is an excellent surgeon. I would recommend him 100%!
Dr. Gamagami was always very friendly, informative and provided ample time for me to ask questions. He along with the Silver Cross staff made sure my procedure and recovery went smoothly and my pain was very controlled.

My wife had colorectal cancer. Dr. Reza A. Gamagami performed laparoscopic robotic total protectomy with coloanal anastomosis. The cancer was completely removed. She is recovering extremely well. Every step of our experience with Dr. Gamagami was incredible. He was professional and confident. He explained everything in explicit detail. His follow up was succinct and encouraging. In a word, it was perfect.
Dr. Gamagami did a phenomenal job handling all of my problems. I felt like the process was explained clearly to me and I could not be happier with the results of my surgery. He is a great medical doctor in addition to being a great surgeon! The staff are friendly, helpful and timely in their responses to questions. I have been extremely pleased with my care when meeting with the Physician Assistants as well!
I went to numerous doctors, including Mayo, without a diagnosis for 10 years. I continued to get weaker and lose weight. I went to Dr Gamagami to see if I should have my gallbladder removed. Dr. Gamagami told me I didn’t need my gallbladder removed, but diagnosed me with pancreatitis instead. He put me on enzymes, and I immediately started regaining my strength. He was the only doctor who actually really listened to my symptoms. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Gamagami. He gave me my life back.
I COMPLAINED TO DOCTOR GAMAGAMI ABOUT PAIN UNDER OR NEAR MY LIVER ,,INSTEAD OF LOOKING FOR GALL BLADDER STONES HE DID A COLONOSCOPY ,WHICH I DID NOT NEED ,I CAME TO HIS OFFICE FOR A GALL BLADDER OPERATION AND I WAS TREATED LIKE A SOIDE OF BEEF BEFORE AND AFTER THE SURGERY WHICH WAS PROBLAMATIC
After dealing with gastro doctors most my adult life with no avail I went to Dr. Gamagami and explained my problems. After trying some meds to make sure if I need surgery or not it was determined that I would need the surgery. Dr. Gamagami was excellent in handling my condition. and a great surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone who needs Colectomy surgery.
