My neighbor backed into my truck and left a huge dent on the passenger side door. I also had an old scratch on the bumper. I obtained 3 estimates for auto body and frame repair. One company, Husteads Auto in Walnut Creek, quoted close to 5k. TK in El Cerrito quoted $2,200.00. My last estimate was from a company in Oakland which quoted 6k. Went with undercarriage problem. Free inspection, no real problem. Quick courteous I’ll be back.
This shop had my car illegally towed while parked in a communal space adjacent to their shop. They then had the audacity to lie to me about it and refuse to name the tow company (Vazquez Towing on Giant Ave). Said something about “you should have left a note” which I did. Property management confirmed that Reyes acted in their own interests and without cause. There are no posted tow warnings anywhere on this site as there are no parking restrictions for marked parking spaces at this complex. See you in court, Reyes!
I've only heard bad things from people in the neighborhood, so I'd look elsewhere.
