Absolutely horrible service. Took my daughter to get her bloodwork drawn and the techs were extremely loud with personal conversations which were inappropriate for the workplace. Customers do not need to hear an employees displeasure with their job.The tech that completed the bloodwork placed a tourniquet on my daughter and walked away. Called Rex lab on a Saturday and asked if I could have my gestational diabetes test the following day on a Sunday. The nurse on the phone told me they were open and more than happy to assist with my test on Sunday. I arrived on the Sunday to an empty lab and checked in with the lady at the desk. She processed to tell me she cannot help me with my test because it’s Sunday. I told her I called and ask yesterday and was told it wouldn’t be an issue. 60 minute wait for a 20 second blood draw, the very people sitting at the desk did the draw. What was the wait for? Who knows. And the best part was I waited 40 minutes before being told I needed to have the physical ID before they would do anything, after showing them a photo of it when I first got there. Could have told me in the first 10 seconds of knowing I didn’t have it but that’s too much to ask. Do better.
The receptionist was very rude and seemed like she did not want to work or do her job. She seemed upset at people showing up for blood draws. She was constantly chatting on her phone. The phlebotomist was however competent at her job and did the blood draw on first try. Receptionists hostile attitude ruined my day.
