RecommendedMichael restored an antique chair and 1920's secretary desk of my grandma's for me. He did a beautiful job bringing these cherished pieces back to life. He was very knowledgeable, skillful, and easy to work with. I highly recommend him!
I have known this gentleman for many years. He restored two items for me. I believe he approaches each piece of furniture with a talent that is perfection (if I may use that word).
1930's couch and chair set were in desperate need of some love. We called Revue Furnishings and loved the customer service from the beginning. Most talented, knowledgeable historian, passionate, and a handsome guy. Incredible, , Michael has hands of a Real Master Artisian Restoration work must be painstaking yet, Mr Engle, has the vision, the patience, the Love which makes his work so beautiful. Japanese call it Kintsugi, making a piece, stronger and more beautiful. Embracing its flaws, imperfections, giving new life to a well deserved piece.
I has been over two years since a chair was picked up. Promises have been made for deadlines and repeatedly been broken.
Called Michael about a broken leg on our Danish, mid-century coffee table. Sent him pix and he was able to give me the simplest fix over the phone. Took all of 5 minutes and saved me a lot of time and money. Will definitely be my first stop for more complicated tasks! Thanks Michael!
I think Revue Furnishings is a fantastic collection of Michael Engle’s eclectic and precise eye on design and his natural ability to find art in all the items he chooses to add his skills and insight to. He really is a designers desire! I LOVE M.E. Designs!!!
