This is an absolutely amazing place, spooky and gorgeous and lovingly restored by the incredibly talented and visionary Sinde Butler! My friends and I had a marvelous time at the Halloween haunted house last year, and I can’t wait to come back for more events. What a gem!
This "Gilded Age' mansion, once neglected, is being restored by a caring new owner, Cynthia Butler. I have attended events organized and hosted by her. She has been simultaneously creative and respectful of the building's heritage, and she has a pleasant personality, too.
It all started with a birthday party, then our wedding. We have celebrated some very happy occasions here and wouldn't change a thing. Sinde is very accommodating, and easy to work with. The venue is extremely clean, and the grounds are well kept. We have used the carriage house for out of town family to stay; which might I add is the perfect place for the bride to get ready. I have attended events and hosted an event at Wheeler Mansion. The hostess Cynthia does an amazing job to bring your vision to life. I highly recommend this beautiful venue for your next event. Beyond renovating this previously neglected, historic building, Cynthia has immersed herself into local causes and community events. She’s a wonderful addition to our region.
