I want to begin by acknowledging the kindness and professionalism of the front desk staff and the nurse who assisted us during our recent visit—they were both extremely helpful and compassionate. However, I feel it is absolutely necessary to share our experience with the provider Con Newman, who we saw, as it was deeply negligent and nearly had devastating consequences for my daughter. I have been trying to be patient (pun intended) with Dr. Millers office for almost 3 years. I think I've met with him 2 times in 3 years. In this Revere system, it can be very difficult to speak with anyone. Trying to get clarity on certain prescriptions in regards to dosage, etc. and I am continually passed on to someone that doesn't really understand, medically, the solution. I made an appointment one week in advance and checked in online a few days earlier as required. On the day of the appointment, I arrived 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled time, as per their rules, and waited for nearly half an hour. When I asked the front desk, their response was, "You came too early." Even after waiting past the 15-minute mark, there was still no update. Assembly-line medicine. It's impressive how little you have to wait for appointments. They get you in, process you, and send you on your way. But that's about it. Don't expect to build a relationship with your doctor. Don't expect proactive, preventative medicine. They'll bring you in, run some tests, and if you aren't broken yet, they'll send you on your way until you are. If you want to be proactive about your own long-term health, you won't get much help here.
