I had such a wonderful experience visiting my grandfather at Extendicare Burloak. The home was spotless and so well cared for, which made the visit even more welcoming. During my visit on Friday, the home was hosting a beautiful celebration of diversity, equity, and inclusion called All Nations Day and Fashion Show. My mother was in Stephenson House at Burloak from January until she passed away in May. She adapted to her new surroundings very easily. The care and attention she received on a daily basis was excellent. We knew she was in good hands. All the staff that cared for her on a daily basis came to pay their respects when she passed and for that we are grateful. I must share my excellent experience with Extendicare Burloak. My Mom spent the last chapter of her life there, and the kindness, empathy, and level of care from the staff and management were simply outstanding. It was indeed an experience that filled my heart with gratitude. Now, with my Dad needing Long-term Care, I am all fingers and toes crossed, hoping that he can get into Extendicare Burloak. I am so thankful for this wonderful organization and the incredible people who work there. They are amazing!
