I did my first placement here the things I witnessed made me cry for these residents NEVER EVER would I send any loved ones to this place the residents treatment by the PSW's & Nurses made me uncomfortablely sick to my stomach! Would never recommend this place would recommend the Ministry of Health and Safety pay them a surprise visit! DISGRACEFUL CONDUCT!!!

I had such a wonderful experience visiting my grandfather at Extendicare Burloak. The home was spotless and so well cared for, which made the visit even more welcoming. During my visit on Friday, the home was hosting a beautiful celebration of diversity, equity, and inclusion called All Nations Day and Fashion Show. My mother was in Stephenson House at Burloak from January until she passed away in May. She adapted to her new surroundings very easily. The care and attention she received on a daily basis was excellent. We knew she was in good hands. All the staff that cared for her on a daily basis came to pay their respects when she passed and for that we are grateful.
