I sent them an SX-70 Alpha 1 for refurbishment and it came back with more problems, irreparable damage, and they won’t honor their warranty and fix it. I asked them during the refurbishment to leave off the leather skin as I planned on applying my own. When it came back it was without the interlayer, or sturdy piece covering the screw holes. I've purchased twice from Retrospekt, the first time was four years ago when I got a refurbished Walkman which is still going strong today. Recently I purchased a refurbished Sony Discman, and when it arrived nonfunctional, they were kind enough to pay for a shipping label to send it back to try to repair it. It was unfortunately non-fixable, so they offered me a free pick for a replacement Discman, plus a refund in the price difference.
