Beware! Misleading Cancellations Policy. Of all the many places we have booked over the years this has been our only horrible experience dealing with Accommodation. We booked the most flexible cancellation option available, but Unforeseen events cancelled our flights almost a month before our travel dates. They were very unhelpful and charged us anyways. Every other one of our Accommodation options were Reasonable and Awesome to deal with.
We had the most wonderful stay at Retro Apartments! The apartment was beautifully styled, with every comfort and convenience (and I was very inspired by the fabulous furnishings). We enjoyed being located so close to town and spent our days heading to and from the beach. Doug was amazing ~ fast to respond and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this beautiful apartment for anyone looking for the perfect Port Douglas experience.
I honestly wish the world was full of people like the owner Doug, I've never felt more comfortable going away before my feet even got to the airport, honestly get involved, Doug's made us aware he has a new Suite the Bannana suite which we are hoping is avaliablewwhen we come next! I think if you want to feel like part of a family in Port Douglas then please I honestly cant reccomend the service more, amazing guys we WILL see you soon!!
The apartment is well setup, comfortable, close to the main centre, beach and marina, walking distance. Every conceivable item is added to the unit to make your stay comfortable and easy. The local guides give a real insight to the best of the attractions, we followed these and were well rewarded with great experiences. Everything worked, all appliances, TV, Netflix, Bose speaker. Absolutely amazing. The apartment was beautiful and close to the beach and down town. It was very clean and spacious, and we couldn’t have wished for better hostesses! 10/10 would recommend, thank you again!!
