Mike, Nick, and Julie are always helpful with questions and very knowledgeable about cameras and film. They develop films in color and B/W in 135mm and 120mm. Then they'll scan the film, send it to Dropbox, and you'll receive an email that they're ready. If you want the negatives, they'll give that back to you. First time coming into the shop today. Customer service was fantastic, asked questions as im just getting into film photography and pretty much all my questions where answered. Bought a couple rolls of film and a lens for my tower 32B/ mamiya prismat np. Was very happy at the end of my experience and definitely will be coming back here to get some rolls developed and more film in the future.
As somebody who has dealt with many labs and camera shops, it is hard to find one quite like Retro. I have yet to find developing at a better price and I am consistently impressed by how soon I get my film back and how it is processed. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable and I greatly appreciate how every encounter I have here is positive given the way some other folks in the field speak to the younger generations. This is an amazing shop that is really dedicated to building the film community. Fast development turnaround, great prices on film and gear, plus they always take the time to answer my questions and make everyone feel at home there.
