This is a really cool place
Had a great talk with Mike and Nick today at Retro Photo Reading. Amazing shop for film camera nerds. Huge selection and diverse collection on display. Mike knew about damn near everything I came to show and ask about. Even chatted with me a bit past closing, which I hadn't realized (sorry Mike!) I wish I lived closer, but anytime I'm in Reading now I'll plan to stop in.
Mike, Nick, and Julie are always helpful with questions and very knowledgeable about cameras and film. They develop films in color and B/W in 135mm and 120mm. Then they'll scan the film, send it to Dropbox, and you'll receive an email that they're ready. If you want the negatives, they'll give that back to you. If you want a certain camera or are looking for parts, they can help you find them. Even the YouTube influencer Jared Pollan stops by for a chat with Mike. The new owner of Retro Photo Reading had arguably the best selection of vintage cameras in his booth at Photographica. Super friendly service, and I look forward to making it out to the store next time I’m in PA.
