Complete disaster. RAC commissioned them to repair my bike, and they spent almost a year wasting my time, confusing it with another bike and then today after telling me it was all ok, I took it down and they said they're not doing insurance jobs anymore. Owner Paul Smith didn't even come out to tell me. Bunch of monkeys. See the other review about dropping a motor on its head and then charging double if you don't believe me. Stay away.
First experience with these guys off the back of some decent recommendations over the years, and ideally the last. Dropped an engine head and valves off to get cleaned up and lapped. Got it back covered in bird crap, with a flat battery and a busted throttle. Came back worse than it went in. And it took over a month for them to even look at it. I understand that the shop is under the pump with some unforeseen circumstances but jeez, I wouldn’t take a bike here unless you had no other option. That or they completely change up the service.

Absolute pleasure doing business with Retros. I was intending to buy a new Ural, when Retros unselfishly put me in contact with an owner of a 4 month old Ural just ridden across from Brisbane. Not only did buying this Ural help out the previous owner and myself, Oly advised us how to sort out regos etc. To me a bike shop with this level of service and integrity will definitely be getting my business. Thanks Retros
