The equipment is clean and maintained nicely. I like the size of this gym. Mid size, not overwhelming. The gym is very comfortable temperature wise. The giant ceiling fan does does a nice job keeping the air circulating. Had some unpleasant and absurd people issues here and management did a bad job reconciling them. I was a long-time customer at the Retro Fitness East Windsor location, which unfortunately went out of business. Despite the gym being closed and unable to provide any service, they continued charging me. I called multiple times with no answer. As a last resort, I contacted my bank to stop further payments. Instead of clear communication, I started receiving notices about past due balances and extra charges added to my bill. I’m really disappointed with my experience at Retro Fitness - East Windsor location. I had frozen my membership earlier due to back pain and specifically asked whether I would be charged during the freeze. I was told multiple times that I would not be charged. Despite that, I was still billed. When I contacted them, manager Shivang was helpful and removed the charges at that time, and I appreciated his support. Love this gym, equipment is always cleaned and in good shape, no weights littering the floor, and night crew is 10/10. Customer service is always top notch and makes going there that much easier after a long day. Thanks to the whole retro team, all you guys definitely make this place run.
