Today is March 7 , which means tomorrow marks a month since the gym have been closed due to flooding . I totally understand the situation and do not wish to rush the reopening if it’s that serious. My main disappointment is that there is no way to pause the membership online or at other locations, paying a monthly subscription for a closed gym is just a no go .
Christina Pedoto is a wonderful personal trainer here at the Retro Fitness Fort Lee NJ location. She has helped me with all the equipment making sure I have proper form and an understanding of each exercise. She has great knowledge in the gym and has helped me with losing weight & my eating habits. It sucks this location is temporarily closed because of the flooding damage, but I can't wait for it to reopen and have new and improved equipment!
The gym has been closed for over two weeks without any notification to members, yet they still charged the subscription fee. That’s very disappointing and unprofessional. The location is convenient, which is the main reason I go here, but honestly, the gym itself doesn’t feel worth the price. The interior design could also use improvement the red and yellow colors don’t create a motivating workout atmosphere. I hope management improves communication and considers upgrading the facility.
